The main focus of my work is the seduction of surface and colour from cheap commercial packaging, for example the bright plastic monochromes in Cilit Bang and Vanish, and the impact that these products have on us when taken from their known commercial entity in the 21st Century and reproduced into wall reliefs and freestanding paintings, that explore the expanded surface, and reminisce on the materials and techniques used in traditional painting.
